Hi boys and girls,

just a small story about nearly nothing....

A few months ago I bought a MusicMan Bongo 5 HH from a guy in Switzerland.

Beautiful instrument, fantastic sound and playability, great tone.

So far so good. But it's not the "perfect match" for the kind of music that I play, so I wanted to sell it.

I know that the design of the Bongo is some kind of "not everybody likes it" but I always thought that kind of bass has it's friends (and it really sounds so great - if I did not already say that).

But nobody wanted to buy it. Hm, AFAIK the price is ok and reasonable so where's the problem?

However, a guy from Italy contacted me and he offered a G&L SB-2, Made in U.S.A. , for my Bongo and I accepted.

I made a big packet (the Bongo 5 is VERY large) and the guy from Italy made a big packet and both packets went on their ways.

To make a long story short, the parcel service that should deliver the G&L to me said it could not be delivered (whyever, see my other post).

AND I WAIT SO DESPERATELY FOR THE G&L ! I already bought a new set of strings (Flatwound), BUT THEY DID NOT DELIVER IT.

OK, lets see what happens in the next week when they do another attempt for delivery.
